Denise Haire

Of Counsel

Denise represents clients in the prosecution and defense of complex commercial litigation matters, particularly those which address the actions of local government. She has significant experience working on behalf of both private clients and local government (City of West Palm Beach), and her broad skill set also allows her to assist with complex zoning and entitlement applications. As Chief Talent Officer of the firm, she coordinates all recruiting efforts and talent evaluation for the firm.

Denise focuses her practice on land use, zoning, administrative, and governmental law. She represents developers, landowners, and municipalities on issues related to comprehensive planning, development approvals, property rights, and zoning. She has experience counseling clients and defending approvals on a wide variety of projects including residential communities, condominiums, hotels, mixed-use buildings, and office developments.

Denise has extensive experience addressing local government issues. Prior to joining the Firm, Denise served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of West Palm Beach where she represented the city in land use litigation, real estate matters, and appellate proceedings as well as advised quasi-judicial boards and municipal committees.

Denise is an active member of her community and has contributed to numerous professional, civic, and charitable organizations. She previously served as Chair of The Florida Bar Journal Editorial Board and is currently a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Local Government and Land Use Committee. Denise graduated from Vanderbilt Law School.
