Mark Grafton
Of Counsel
Mark guides clients through the complex and often opaque local land use and zoning regulatory environment. Clients use his guidance when deciding whether to purchase property or reposition existing assets. He negotiates and drafts a wide variety of agreements relating to real property, including purchase and sale agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, development agreements, and leases.
Mark represents individuals, businesses, and governmental entities in resolving complex disputes at both the trial and appellate levels. His track record in real estate litigation includes successful first chair representation of a property owner in an administrative trial relating to a comprehensive plan amendment.
As a sixth-generation Miamian, Mark’s roots in the community run deep. He served as the Chair of the Young Leaders Group for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Southeast Florida/Caribbean from 2020 to 2022, during which time he focused on creating opportunities for substantive engagement with the topics of Resiliency and Housing Affordability.
