Dylan Helfand

Associate

Dylan focuses his practice on litigation, with an emphasis on the use and development of real property. He represents developers, individual property owners, businesses, and municipalities on issues related to developmental approvals, permitting and zoning. His practice also extends to administrative appeals and appellate maters before the Judicial Circuit’s Appellate Division and the Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining the Firm, Dylan worked at a national firm in its Miami office, on a wide range of litigation matters. Dylan also practiced at a boutique litigation firm in New York City, advising on matters in both trial and appellate courts in New York. While in law school, Dylan served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cathy L. Waldor, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Dylan graduated from Fordham University School of Law where he was the Symposium Editor for the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Journal, and an Associate Editor on the Fordham Moot Court Board. He was also involved in pro bono matters, working at Fordham’s legal clinic where he provided legal services to clients involved in federal litigation. Dylan was the recipient of the Hendren Family Merit Scholarship and the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.

Dylan is a native of Miami, Florida and returned home after living in New York for over six years. He enjoys spending his down time cooking for his friends and family and cheering on the Florida Gators, particularly on Saturdays in the fall.
